There’s a part of me that hates how much I enjoyed this show. Not because it was bad. Because for most of my life I’ve openly disliked country music. Not casually. Actively. The polished radio version of it always felt artificial to me. Predictable. Emotion flattened into clichés about trucks, whiskey, breakups, and small towns.
